Designed by Robin Day, 1967.
The Armchair was designed by Robin Day for Hille and was launched in 1967 following the dramatic success of the Poly Side chair. Its rolled edges ensure that the fixings are kept out of sight from the front view and the generously wide seat with built in arms makes it incredibly comfortable. The Armchair as with the majority of Day’s Polypropylene shell designs featured the same fixing points enabling the shell to be fitted to the numerous bases.
