Mosaic Clubhouse is an award-winning charity in Brixton providing services to the Lambeth community and surrounding boroughs. It has been funded by Lambeth Council and the NHS Lambeth since it was founded in 1994. We aim to promote positive mental health for those aged 16 and over, living with severe and often enduring mental health conditions, enabling individuals to regain the confidence and skills necessary to lead productive and satisfying lives.
ONS data revealed that in 2021, just 29% of autistic adults are in any kind of employment. And we're here to challenge that.
A registered charity, at Atypical Work Space we have created a safe and supportive work and social environment, where adjustments are made so our neurodiverse team can work and thrive, helping them lead more independent and productive lives.
As well as developing their practical, social and life skills, we pay the Living Wage, which in some cases gives them their first experience of financial independence.
We receive no external funding so rely totally on the income our neurodiverse team generates from: repairing, refurbishing and recycling computer equipment; selling items via our eBay shop; providing IT support to customers; and finally, from your donations.
St John’s Centre - provides a safe environment in which people from all groups within the local community can meet together for social, educational and recreational activities.
OPEN was founded in July 2010 by a group of local artists and residents with the support of local organisations such as Pathways and A2Dominion and community groups, West Ealing Neighbours and Ealing Arts + Leisure. The project has had access to numerous high street spaces from which operate its artistic programming. In January 2013 the constituted community group became a limited company, OPEN Ealing Limited and operates as a social enterprise.
